Our Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil is more than just a product – it is a piece of Thasos.
The island preserves an olive-growing tradition shaped not by markets, but by the rhythm of the seasons. The trees grow in ancient groves where knowledge of harvesting and pressing has been passed down from generation to generation.
The rare Throumba olive develops its full aroma while still on the tree – a natural ripening process that occurs only under the unique conditions of this island. From it emerges an oil that not only tastes exceptional, but carries its origin within: mild, clear, sun-kissed, and harmoniously balanced.
Anyone who enjoys this oil can taste the landscape, the craftsmanship, and the living connection to tradition.
Origin & Production
Our olive oil comes from a small family mill on Thasos and carries the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). Every step – from the olive grove to the bottling – takes place exclusively on the island.
The olives are harvested by hand and cold-extracted below 27°C to preserve aromas, polyphenols, and valuable fatty acids.
Organic Quality
Production follows strict EU organic regulations – without chemical additives or synthetic processing aids. Here, organic is not just a label, but a lived commitment.
Flavor Profile
Mild and fruity at first, gently bitter with a soft, balanced peppery finish – characteristic of high-quality Throumba olives. Ideal for cold dishes, finishing vegetables, antipasti, or simply enjoyed pure with fresh bread.
